Corridor options

This stage of community engagement for North East Link has finished. We'll be reporting back to communities what we heard in October. If you have questions about the project you call us on 1800 941 191 or write to us at community@northeastlink.vic.gov.au

We're investigating four possible corridor options for North East Link.

You can view an interactive map of the options here.

At this early stage, the routes aren't exact or final. We're using them to test at a high level how the corridors might deliver the outcomes North East Link needs to achieve.

All corridor options will include tunnels as well as new surface roads and bridges to connect to the existing road network, but we're still a long way from recommending the preferred solution and detailed designs for the actual road.

Right now, we're interested to hear if the studies we've completed so far, what we've found and the further work we're planning includes what matters to you for North East Link.

We also want to know if you think we've missed anything important.

What you tell us now will help inform our ongoing technical investigations as we work towards recommending a preferred corridor.

You can read a snapshot of what we've found about each corridor on these pages:

You can also read our Technical Summary which includes a snapshot of some of our investigations and analysis so far.

Get involved

  • Follow the links above to more information on each of the corridors to see what we are investigating and what we know so far

  • Take a closer look at our project objectives and principles and take the survey share your thoughts about what you want North East Link to achieve

  • Join the discussion forum below to help us understand which of our findings so far are most important to you, and if there are other things we need to consider as we continue our studies.

  • After reading our studies and looking at what we know so far about the four corridors, join the conversation and let us know what you think.

What do you think about our findings so far? Are we measuring what's important to you? Have we missed anything? Share your thoughts in the discussion forum below.

The discussion forum will close on Monday 18 September 2017. From there, we'll use what we've heard to help us keep investigating each of the four corridor options.
